The short version: FormVault stores form data locally on your device and never transmits anything to any server. We have no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, and no way to access your data. Your data is yours alone.

What Data Is Collected

FormVault automatically saves the values you enter into web form fields so they can be restored if the page is closed or refreshed unexpectedly. The types of fields saved include:

All saved form data is stored exclusively in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This is a local storage mechanism built into the browser. No data is ever transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party.

How to Delete Your Data

You are in full control of your data at all times. To delete saved form entries, open the FormVault popup by clicking the extension icon in your browser toolbar. From there you can view and remove any saved data for any site.

Uninstalling the extension will also permanently delete all stored data.

Third-Party Services

FormVault does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services. There are no analytics platforms, advertising networks, or remote APIs involved.

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since FormVault collects no contact information, we encourage users to review this page periodically.
